Account Executive – Inside Sales

Job description

Cavelo is driving the future of data protection by helping organizations measure and manage their cyber risk through data discovery. The demand for risk quantification is growing, especially in regulated industries like utilities, municipalities and financial services. We're looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our growing team and support customer growth in emerging markets.

This role reports to the Manager of Direct Sales and is a unique opportunity for those looking to grow their sales career in the cybersecurity field.
Who you are:

  • A target oriented, self-motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • A confident communicator with a strong ability to understand, clearly articulate and frame a customer's business need.
  • A passionate, competitive thinker who's adept at positioning new ideas and differentiating solutions.

What you'll do:

  • Hunt - Conduct outbound calling and emailing campaigns to create new accounts a drive top-of-funnel engagements.
  • Advance – Drive demand in both active and latent prospect environments.
  • Close – Guide prospects through to closure band, achieving sales targets of pipeline growth and closed business.
  • Sell – Learn, adapt and master the Cavelo outbound, solution-based sales process. Uncover our potential client's problems and pain points and link them to solutions.
  • Grow - Work with channel partners (MSPs and VARs) to cultivate a healthy, partner-led sales funnel.
  • Drive - Liaise with Marketing to identity, build and execute demand and lead-based campaigns.
  • Problem Solve - Build alignment for the direct sales plan across Product, Marketing, and Engineering, using data and customer insights to support conclusions.

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably with a background in BDR/ODR/SDR environments.
  • Proven record of sales success, hitting targets at a business development or sales quota level.
  • Experience selling cybersecurity solutions, network/IT solutions and/or SaaS technology.
  • Experience with technology solution selling platforms like Salesforce, LinkedIn and prospecting tools.
  • Ability to work within a healthy, competitive environment alongside team members who enable and support each other to achieve targets and goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to drive alignment with professional persistence.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
